The Historical Roots of Conflict in the Middle East - USF Professor Abdelwahab Hechiche (Department of Government and International Affairs) will give us a broad picture of the roots of conflict in the Middle East. Dr. Hechiche was born in Tunis, Tunisia. Graduate and post graduate studies at the University of Paris, Sorbonne Nouvelle and the Institute of Advanced International Relations of the Faculty of Law. Dean Rusk Seminar Fellow at the Southern Center for International Studies, Atlanta, Georgia, and twice Fellow at the Center for Middle Esatern Studies of Harvard University. Laureate of the Fondation de la Vocation, Paris 1965, for Peace in the Middle East.

 

There will be four events in the series on the third Sunday of the month (Feb - May). The cost for the entire series is $20 and interested parties are encouraged to attend each event in the series to promote a more informed exchange. The series is FREE for individuals with a current student ID. Details on each event will be posted soon.
